Instructions for making a trip deposit.
- Add up your total number of anglers - Minimum is 2 anglers so your minimum deposit will be $150.00.
- After you know your number of anglers click the PayPal button below. A new window opens.
- Once on the new page enter your total number of anglers in the small form space provided that is labeled "Quantity".
- After adding your total number of anglers scroll down to the bottom and click continue.
- From here Paypal will ask for your personal information and your credit card.
- Once you pay you will be returned to this website.
- NOTE: - If you have a Paypal account you will do steps 1, 2, and 3 and then put in your PayPal password. You will see this once on the page.
- IMPORTANT - If you are making a deposit for more than 1 day of fishing you simply add up your total number of anglers and multiply that number by the total number of days. That will be the number you put in the payment box at Paypal.com under the heading "Quantity". For example if you have 3 anglers fishing 2 days you will make a deposit for 6 anglers. That would be equal to 3 X 2 or 3 anglers fishing 2 days.
- Any questions please contact Captain Loren.
Columbia River Charter Fishing Boat
Your Columbia River fishing boat that you will be fishing from is a 24' top of the line Thor-Built open boat that provides 360 degree fishing with a maximum capacity of 6 anglers and the Columbia River charter boat Captain. This boat is a popular design that is used by many Columbia River fishing guides and provides maximum safety of fishability.
All your fishing gear needed for a successful Columbia River fishing trip is provided by Captain Loren. This includes rods, reels, tackle, and bait. Items that are not included are things like personal items such as food, drinks, fishing glasses, etc. See the table below for a detailed list of what you should bring yourself.
Oregon Charter Fishing Trip - Things I Should Bring?
Bring a medium to small cooler for food and drinks. You may need a larger cooler or other container to carry your fish home in. This can stay in your car while you are charter fishing in Columbia River to save space on the boat. |
A duffle bag is a good idea to bring for carrying your rain gear, extra tee shirt, hat, and other personal items that you need to bring on an Oregon charter fishing trip. |
|
Bring all your food and drinks. Before you bring alcohol, beer or other you should first ask your Oregon fishing guide if alcohol is permitted or not. |
We WILL fish in the rain. If you know you will be fishing in the rain you may want to bring some lightweight rain gear or foul weather gear. |
|
Bring sun glasses. Preferrably polarized fishing glasses to lessen the sun's glare that reflects up off the water. |
Bring a camera to take snapshots of those big red fish you release and better yet bring your video camera to capture the Oregon charter fishing action and beautiful scenery. |
|
Bring a ball cap or a fishing hat to protect you from the sun. Remember the water intensifies the suns glare and can cause you to burn much quicker than on land. Even in the colder regions of the Northwest you still want a cap of some type if possible. |
For the same reason you wear your hat on the water you will want plenty of sun screen especially if you easily burn. The suns effects are doubly strong on the water and without sunscreen can cause you to burn very quick. |

The Columbia River and it's tributaries don't get rough but it doesn't have to be rough for some folks to sea sick. The simple rocking of the boat can make some people quesie. If you get sea sick or aren't sure if you get sea sick then it is a very wise idea to take your Dramamine before you leave the dock. Nothing can ruin an Oregon charter fishing trip worse than a guy named "RALPH". | |
